If it was not for Mark, my multi-million $ project idea to port an old DOS-based POS package to Linux would not have succeeded, thereby rejuvenating a multi-million dollar software product at our POS vendor and providing extreme value for Things Remembered. Mark was key to integrating the porting of the code by someone who understood both the application and the porting environments, and who could provide the kind of close cooperation and creativity that this very challenging project needed.

You're pretty awesome at those things, taking monumental things and chopping them down to size.

Smart, direct, occasionally confusing but always fun.

Paul Winkeler

Worked with Mark maintaining and enhancing a number of legacy record keeping systems at a top financial firm. This project was at least a year of firefighting and problem resolution and Mark was excellent at it. Sharp and creative...and likeable too!

Mark understands his craft and excels at it. Technology is great when you know how to use it; and when you don't, you definitely need an expert like Mark on your team.

Nancy Fraser Notabene Consulting

Mark's work at [my organization] was always well thought out and usually exceeded customer expectations. His ability to translate client requirements into production-ready applications was an asset to my team.

Kathy Crowley Development Manager at a regional bank

Mark and I worked together with a common client on a large financial recordkeeping application. Mark was instrumental in the development of some very complex and essential functionality for the system.

Despite being very technically savvy, Mark also has a great business sense and particularly excels at getting projects done on-time and on-budget even in cases where they may have gone horribly wrong prior to his involvement.

Lastly, I would be remiss if I did not mention that Mark will keep you and your team laughing even as important work is getting done. I will never forget some of the memories I have from the time I worked with Mark (and neither will you)!

Your incremental loading implementation is bad-ass! It's working well for me and makes other things easier, besides just being wonderfully fast. I almost understand it.
